She graduated from Universiti Malaysia Sabah with a Bachelor’s degree (Hons.) in Forestry. She started working in Penang Institute since 2019 and currently holds a position as an Administrative Assistant. Her interests includes playing badminton during the weekends or during her free time, and going for hikes to enjoy the calm green scenery.

Rebecca Lai Chiew Yee
Senior Administrative Officer
 
She is an administrative assistant who is responsible for the daily operations of the institute. She worked in the manufacturing industry for the past 15 years after finishing her studies in Business Administration through a United Kingdom program. She believes that teamwork is important to allow you to work with your strengths and the strengths of others in your team – strengthening the support for one another.

Morana Lefilliâtre

She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Hons.) in Business Management from Sunderland University, United Kingdom. Some of her interests include environmental, heritage, and cultural issues.

Muhamad Nur Lokman Bin Redzuan
Administrator & Research Assistant
 
Graduated from University of Malaya with a bachelor’s degree of International and Strategic Studies. Prior to joining Penang Institute, he was an anti-money laundering analyst in an international financial institution. His research interest includes foreign policy, border security, counter-terrorism and regionalism.

Maggie Loo
Finance Officer
 
She holds a Secretarial diploma. She is currently the Finance Officer of Penang Institute. Previously, she worked as an Administrator cum Accountant for 12 years (1984 – 1996) in a research company in Kuala Lumpur, and as a Personal Assistant to a Penang State EXCO for 12 years (1996 – 2008).
