In this episode, we welcome the new-generation Malaysian Chinese writer, Ong Jing Heng, to explore his literary wellspring and inner spiritual world. As a psychiatrist, he has the unique opportunity to listen to life stories; literature, in turn, gently grants him empathy, allowing him to embrace human and worldly suffering from a multi-dimensional perspective. Jing Heng shared that all his experiences—the subtle affections for his hometown, the bond with his family, and the bodily pain and life hardships encountered in his medical practice—have transformed into his deepest creative drive. He also mentioned the warm support he receives from his peers. Congratulations on the official release of his new book, The Doctor Who Quit.
