Enrique Tan
Operations Manager

Enrique Tan is the Operations Manager at Penang Institute, where he oversees the Institute’s operational functions and drives initiatives that strengthen organisational effectiveness, stakeholder engagement and long-term sustainability.

He brings extensive experience in operations management, stakeholder engagement, marketing, business development and digital transformation across the advertising, education, training, technology and research sectors. His work has focused on driving organisational growth, strengthening strategic partnerships and implementing initiatives that improve efficiency and impact.

Enrique holds a Bachelor of Communication (Honours) from Universiti Sains Malaysia.

Mohamad Hakim Khairulazman
Distribution Executive
 
He has a professional background in logistics, supply chain coordination and administrative operations, with prior experience in shipping and freight forwarding. At Penang Institute, he oversees the distribution and circulation of publications and materials, ensuring timely, accurate and systematic handling across various channels.With a structured and meticulous working style, he supports the operational flow by coordinating resources efficiently and maintaining an orderly system for publication management.

His interests lie in operational efficiency, systematic organization and practical problem-solving in everyday work environments.

Maggie Loo
Finance Officer
 
She holds a Secretarial diploma. She is currently the Finance Officer of Penang Institute. Previously, she worked as an Administrator cum Accountant for 12 years (1984 – 1996) in a research company in Kuala Lumpur, and as a Personal Assistant to a Penang State EXCO for 12 years (1996 – 2008).

Saiful Nazmi Bin Rozaiman
Finance Officer
 
Saiful Nazmi Bin Rozaiman is a Finance Officer at Penang Institute, Malaysia. He supports the Institute’s financial and administrative functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, payroll administration, grant management, tax compliance, and governance-related matters.

Saiful holds an ACCA qualification and has three and a half years of experience in external audit. Prior to joining Penang Institute, he worked with Grant Thornton Malaysia and HLB Ler Lum Chew, where he was involved in statutory audits and financial reporting engagements for organisations across various industries. Through his audit experience, he developed strong expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, corporate governance, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.

His professional interests include finance, accounting, budgeting, profit forecasting, taxation, governance, and internal controls. He is committed to promoting sound financial management and supporting the long-term sustainability of the organisation.
