本集节目很荣幸邀请到马来西亚国家执照导游——郑朝嵘先生，与我们分享他探索大山脚文史的心路历程。从小在大山脚长大的他，因为不甘家乡的价值被忽视，决定深入挖掘这片土地的故事。 2015 年是他的人生转折点，他参与了威省市政厅与日本横滨市的合作调查计画，在日本专家的指导与志同道合伙伴的陪伴下，开始深度学习并重新认识在地文化资源的价值。
在为期三年的计画结束后，朝嵘持续将这份体悟化为实际行动，积极推广在地文化旅游，分享家乡的人文故事。他在节目中带领我们走进老巴刹、玄天庙、火车站与圣安纳教堂等古迹。大山脚有着丰富的文化资源，让我们跟着他的脚步，一起用心感受这座城镇的深厚底蕴。
In this episode, we are honored to feature Mr. Tneh Teo Weng, a licensed Malaysian national tour guide. Growing up in Bukit Mertajam, Teo Weng was driven by a deep love for his hometown to uncover its overlooked cultural value.
A pivotal moment came in 2015 when he joined a collaborative heritage project between the Seberang Perai City Council and the City of Yokohama. Guided by Japanese experts and local partners, he gained a profound understanding of his town’s historical roots. Since then, he has turned this passion into action, actively promoting cultural tourism and sharing local stories.
