Since founding a multi-faceted art space after George Town’s UNESCO inscription in 2008, she has connected with talented artisans and expanded into market curation. Queen has led artisans on international exchange programs, deepening her insight into Malaysian and Penang craft styles. Joining Hin Bus Depot’s creative market team in 2022, she helped grow the Sunday market into a weekend event. As Hin Market marks its 10th anniversary, Queen will share how it evolved into a vital platform supporting artisans and building community.
