The Executive Director of Penang Institute, Dato’ Dr Ooi Kee Beng and his Socioeconomics and Statistics team are very happy to have visited the Bank Negara Malaysia Penang office on 28 Feb. We were received by the Head of BNM Penang, Puan Hasjun Hashim and her fellow team members including Mr Chang Wen Han, Ms Panimoli, Mr Kamalullail and Mr Abdul Hamid. We discussed the scope for potential collaboration centering around the topics of affordable housing, e-payment system and financial surveillance. It was an extremely fruitful meeting, and we look forward to a great working relationship with Bank Negara Malaysia.
