On April 22nd, the Embassy of Norway visited Penang Institute as one of their team-building destinations in Penang. The Institute’s Executive Director, Dato’ Dr. Ooi Kee Beng, warmly welcomed Team Norway and briefed them about Penang Institute and its role in Penang policy making. The team participated actively in the discussion on Malaysian politics and socio-economics, as well as how think tanks try to bridge academic interests, policy concerns and social anxieties.
