Ong Siou Woon
Director of Operations

Ong Siou Woon is the Director of Operations of Penang Institute, Malaysia. Prior to joining Penang Institute, she was an assistant Town Planner at a Malaysian architecture and planning consultancy firm. She was selected to participate in the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Professional Fellows Programme funded by the US Department of State in 2015 as a Professional Fellow representing Malaysia. She is actively involved in policy discussions in Penang related to urban and regional planning, especially in the areas of sustainable development. She currently sits on the advisory panel of the Penang Green Agenda and Penang2030, the Penang state vision to become a Family-focused Green and Smart State that Inspires the Nation.

Mohamad Hakim Khairulazman
Distribution Executive
 
He has a professional background in logistics, supply chain coordination and administrative operations, with prior experience in shipping and freight forwarding. At Penang Institute, he oversees the distribution and circulation of publications and materials, ensuring timely, accurate and systematic handling across various channels.With a structured and meticulous working style, he supports the operational flow by coordinating resources efficiently and maintaining an orderly system for publication management.

His interests lie in operational efficiency, systematic organization and practical problem-solving in everyday work environments.

Maggie Loo
Finance Officer
 
She holds a Secretarial diploma. She is currently the Finance Officer of Penang Institute. Previously, she worked as an Administrator cum Accountant for 12 years (1984 – 1996) in a research company in Kuala Lumpur, and as a Personal Assistant to a Penang State EXCO for 12 years (1996 – 2008).
