Together with our partners at USM, on December 10, 2018, Penang Institute sat down with Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) for an MoU and MoA signing ceremony, signifying the start of a 5-year partnership. The two institutions were represented by Dato’ Dr Ooi Kee Beng, Executive Director of Penang Institute, and Dr Arif Satria, rector of IPB. As the first of many collaborations following this signing, IPB will assist Penang Institute in promoting the World Seafood Conference 2019 in Indonesia. Penang Institute looks forward to working together with IPB on regional research projects in the near future.
