APSA brings 2019 Asia Pacific Workshop panel discussion to Penang Institute

The 2019 American Political Science Association (APSA) Asia Pacific Workshop brought their closed-door panel discussion over to Penang institute to discuss how research can be transformed into actual policies. A total of 27 participants as well as several analysts from Penang Institute participated in the discussion.

The speakers were Marzuki Mohamad, special officer to the Minister of Home Affairs and a Professor of Int’l Islamic University (third from the left) and Mir Nadia Nivin, Governance and Institutional Reform Specialist, UNDP, MPA Harvard-JFK (second from the left) with Dato’ Dr Ooi Kee Beng, Executive Director of Penang Institute (fourth from the left) as the moderator.
