Braema Mathi, a visiting senior research fellow at Penang Institute was invited as a Practitioner-in-Residence at the University of Binghamton in New York State by the Institute of Genocide and Mass Atrocity Crime Prevention to meet students, faculty members, their Provost and President. The students had many questions on Southeast Asia, and on Singapore, to which she responded with regards to human rights observations, the nature of atrocity crimes and on early warning signals, if any.
