There are a number of sustainability challenges that require different kinds of solutions. This workshop focuses on sharing information and experiences of governments, private sector and NGOs in Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan in developing and implementing “Eco-town”.
This workshop also focuses on appropriate technology solutions and initiatives that private sector and NGOs have to adopt in order to reduce their negative impacts on the environment and to develop a recycling oriented society. Through presentations and discussions by the participants from Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan, the workshop aims to highlight the environmental policy that is required for proper management of environmental technologies.
